DR. ALAIN L. FYMAT, BA, BS, MA, MS, PhD, PhD is a medical-physical scientist and an educator. He is the current President/CEO and Institute Professor at the International Institute of Medicine & Science with a previous appointment as Executive Vice President/Chief Operating Officer and Professor at the Weil Institute of Critical Care Medicine, California, U.S.A. He was formerly Professor of Radiology, Radiological Sciences, Radiation Oncology, Critical Care Medicine and Physics at several U.S. and European Universities. Earlier, he was Deputy Director (Western Region) of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (Office of Research Oversight). At the Loma Linda Veterans Affairs Medical Center, he was Scientific Director of Radiology, Director of the Magnetic Resonance Imaging Center and, for a time, Acting Chair of Radiology. Previously, he was also Director of the Division of Biomedical and Biobehavioral Research at the University of California at Los Angeles/Drew University of Medicine and Science and an Advisor to the U.S. National Academy of Sciences, National Research Council, for postdoctoral programs tenable at the California Institute of Technology. He is Health Advisor to the American Heart & Stroke Association, Coachella Valley Division, California. He is a frequent Keynote Speaker and International Organizing Committee Member of several international scientific conferences. He has lectured extensively in the U.S., Europe, Asia and Africa. He has published ~ 425 scholarly scientific publications and books. He is also Editor-in-Chief, Honorable Editor or Editor of 72 medical/scientific Journals to which he contributes regularly. Dr. Fymat is a Board member of several institutions, a professional member of the New York Academy of Sciences and the European Academy of Sciences, and a reviewer for the prestigious UNESCO Newton Prize, United Kingdom National Commission for UNESCO. His current research interests are focused on neurodegenerative diseases (Alzheimer, Parkinson, epilepsy, dementias and others), oncology, molecular/precision/personalized medicine, and nanomedicine and nanobiotechnology.

DR. FYMAT's current research interests lie at the interface between medicine and science, particularly neurodegenerative disorders (Alzheimer, Parkinson, epilepsy, dementias and others), human genetics/ epigenetics/ ecogenetics, molecular/ personal/ precision medicine, and nanomedicine and nanobiotechnology. He has extensively published (~ 425 scholarly publications (including patents, books & monographs, book chapters, refereed articles). He has received numerous research grants from government, academia and private industry, and has consulted extensively with these entities. He has lectured extensively in several national and international academic, professional, governmental and industrial venues. He is the Editor-in-Chief, Honorable Editor or Editor of 62 medical/scientific Journals to which he contributes regularly. He is a professional member of the New York Academy of Sciences, an advisor to the American Heart/Stroke Association (Coachella Valley Division) and a reviewer for the prestigious UNESCO Newton Prize, United Kingdom National Commission for UNESCO.

Dr. Amos Bardea is senior lecturer and head of the undergraduate program at the faculty of engineering at Holon Institute of Technology (HIT). He received in 2000 his Ph.D. from Hebrew University for his thesis engaged on developed high sensitivity Bio and Chemo electronic sensors. He joined to Intel Company in 2000 as senior engineer. He led development of advanced technologies in manufacturing. In 2007 he joined to Department of Chemical Physics at the Weizmann Institute of Science. He developed a novel method for nano and molecular patterning by applying magnetic fields, know "Magnetolithograpy-ML" and was applied the new method of patterning surfaces for developing ultra-sensitive DNA and RNA sensors based on microfluidics and molecular Photonics. In 2012 Dr. Bardea joined to the Faculty of Engineering at HIT. He is a pioneer in teaching nanotechnology in higher education. Dr. Bardea is member of organizing committee of the annual Symposium "Nanotechnology from academia to industry –NTAI".

Glukhova, Doctor of science in physics and mathematics, now is a Head of Department of Radiotechnique and electrodynamics at Saratov State University and leads the Division of Mathematical modeling in Educational and scientific institution of nanostructures and biosystems at Saratov State University. She received her DSc degree in solid state electronics and nanoelectronics from Saratov State University in 2009. Mohd Hasmizam Razali has a PhD degree in Materials Engineering (Nanomaterials) from Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), MSc. in Chemistry (Catalyst) and B.Sc (Hons) in Chemical Industry from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). Currently he is a Senior Lecturer at School of Fundamental Sciences, Universiti Malaysia Terengganu (UMT), Malaysia. He has published more than 30 technical papers in journals and conference proceedings locally and internationally related to the nanomaterials and functional materials research. Owing to their significant impacts to the science, economy and society, his innovative research and inventions have attracted global and national interests, enabling him to secure financial support from both private and government agencies. He has been awarded Who’s Who in the World for 3 years in a row 2013, 2014 and 2015 by The Marquis Who’s Who Publications Board. In 2014, the Cambridge Biographical Centre listed him as one of 2000 Outstanding Intellectuals of the 21st Century, due its ability to produce nanomaterials with tremendous improvement compared to conventional commercial materials. On top of that, he is also the recipient of the MAWHIBA Award and GENEVA Gold Medal Award in 1999.

Materials Engineering (Nanomaterials)

Antonietta Gatti is expert of nanopathology, namely, pathologies triggered by micro- and nano-sized particles. She carried out studies of nanotoxicology and nanoecotoxicology as the coordinator of EU Projects Studies: Nanopathology; DIPNA, and the Italian: INESE) aimed at understanding possible pathological mechanisms due to nanoparticles, making primary prevention and improving health and wellbeing, more in particular, those of children. She developed a novel theory on the etiopathology of leukemia and cryoglobulinemia and on the development of cancer strictly related to exposures to nanopollution. She worked in the military field investigating on the soldiers’ diseases. After a long academic carrier she founded the research laboratory called Nanodiagnostics and the Association “Health, Law and Science“ to communicate and disseminate her scientific results and spread information about the risks due to the exposure to environmental/industrial, nanosized contamination. She was awarded with the international Fellowship of the Societies of Biomaterials and Engineering.

Mohammadreza Heydartaemeh has his expertise in mineral processing and advanced Nano technology. He improved the Nano size of hard coating materials. He has been as a top Lecturer at the center of art & culture education applied science & technology university of Tehran. He has a great deal of work experience as a research scientist in various subjects related to “Nano Technology in Mineral Processing and Nano Powder produce. His scientific and industrial findings have been published in several conferences, 27 journal papers and 8 patents which resulted in receiving several awards. Editor in Chief, Reviewer and authoring at more than 100 Articles (More than 20 ISI Journal & Conference in USA and …).

Master in Environmental Management Engineering received her Graduate of Science in Chemistry Engineering from Barcelona University, Post degree Occupational Health Safety from Suffolk University, PhD Universitat Politecnica de Catalunya (UPC). Currently, she is Director of Occupational Hygienist Health Safety in Hospital Bellvitge (ICS) the main health institution in Spain. Her research and work focus on preventing harmful exposures and creating healthy environments at work. Previous, Dra. Orriols was Technical Officer Occupational Health & Safety in National Occupational Safety and Health (INSHT) at the Spanish Government. She is Auditor. Her research interests include:1)occupational&environmental exposure assessment for studies of human health risks;2)intervention research to prevent illness and injury and promote healthy environments in healthcare;3)methods to integrate occupational&environmental health and safety into production and consumption of goods and services. Dra. Orriols has spoken, written and testified extensively on health issues, including indoor air quality (specially surgical hume),prevention of blood borne exposures,radiations exposures, as well as about the effects of work organization

Henry M. Sobell completed his studies at Brooklyn Technical High School (1948-1952), Columbia College (1952-1956), and the University of Virginia School of Medicine (1956-1960). Instead of practicing clinical medicine, he then went to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) to join Professor Alexander Rich in the Department of Biology (1960-1965), where, as a Helen Hay Whitney Postdoctoral Fellow, he learned the technique of single crystal X-ray analysis. He then joined the Chemistry Department at the University of Rochester, having been subsequently jointly appointed to both the Chemistry and Molecular Biophysics departments (the latter at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry), becoming a full tenured Professor in both departments (1965-1993). He is now retired and living in the Adirondacks in New York, USA.

Alexander Seifalian, Professor of Nanotechnology and Regenerative Medicine worked at the Royal Free Hospital and University College London for over 26 years, during this time he spent a period of time at Harvard Medical School looking at caused of cardiovascular diseases and a year at Johns Hopkins Medical School looking at treatment of liver. He published more than 647 peer-reviewed research papers, and registered 14 UK and International patents. He is currently CEO of NanoRegMed Ltd, working on the commercialisation of his research. During his career Prof Seifalian has led and managed many large projects with successful outcomes in terms of commercialisation and translation to patients. In 2007 he was awarded the top prize in the field for the development of nanomaterials and technologies for cardiovascular implants by Medical Future Innovation, and in 2009 he received a Business Innovation Award from UK Trade & Investment (UKTI). He was the European Life Science Awards’ Winner of Most Innovative New Product 2012 for the “synthetic trachea”. Prof Seifalian won the Nanosmat Prize in 2013 and in 2016 he received the Distinguish Research Award in recognition of his outstanding work in regenerative medicine from Heals Healthy Life Extension Society. His achievements include development of the world first synthetic trachea, lacrimal drainage conduit, and vascular bypass graft using nanocomposite materials, bioactive molecules and stem cell technology. He has over 15,000 media report from his achievement, include BBC, ITV, WSJ, CNN, and many more. Currently he is working on development and commercialisation of human organs using graphene based nanocomposite materials and stem cells technology.

İsmail Hakkı AYDIN, MD, Professor of Neurosurgery, was born in Maçka, Trabzon, Turkey on 1954. He received his medical degree at the Ataturk University of Erzurum, the fourth oldest University in the Turkey. After graduating from the Medical School, he completed residencies in Neurosurgery in Atatürk, Istanbul and Zurich Universities. In 1984, he accepted a position at the Ataturk University of Turkey as Ass. Professor of Neurosurgery and Director of the Neurosurgical Department of Medical School, and received full Professor of Neurosurgery in 1994. His chairmanship in this Department was very active until 2010. After this time, he transferred his position to a private University in Istanbul. Professor Aydin, who was the past President of the Nervous System Surgery Society, has some neurosurgical techniques and Sylvain Vein and Cistern Classification were published. For his reason he received more than thirty national and international prestigious awards in Neurosurgery.
